The non-profit Central Music Festival Society was formed to produce an annual outdoor music festival in the Red Deer
area in August. We have put on three festivals so far, entirely organized and staffed by volunteers. We present a family-
oriented, annual weekend of outdoor entertainment and activities featuring a wide range of musical styles performed by
the finest local, regional, national, and international musicians available.
We believe that a successful annual Festival enriches the regional cultural scene, stimulates the local economy, and
enhances Central Alberta’s reputation as a tourist destination.
